MANIPUR EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH (MELC)
MELC, formerly known as Jou Christian Association (JCA) was established on the 20th of February 1954 with a few believers at Daijang Village, Churachandpur District of Manipur state in India. Its headquarters is situated at Zomi Colony, Churachandpur, Manipur. It is a member of the Lutheran communities such as United Evangelical Lutheran Churches in India (UELCI) & Lutheran World Federation (LWF).

Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side.
